Annual rainfall patterns – Lake Albert Sub-basin

The average annual rainfall within the Lake Albert sub-basin is fairly constant with small inter-annual variations. However, there is a noticeable increment in rainfall amounts in the early 1960s’. This area is also influenced by the Rwenzori Mountains and most of the stations record a mean annual rainfall of over 1,200mm apart from the Mubuku, whose case is not clear.
